Daniel and Michelle Gaudreau are loving life in the woods of Maine along with their two daughters, Danielle and Nina.  Dan is a computer technician at a nearby hospital, and Michelle works part-time for a local hospice.  Our eldest daughter has graduated after being home-schooled her last three years, and we are continuing to home-school our youngest.  We have been "house churching" for about five years, since God clearly called us to leave institutional church.  One of the main reasons house church appeals to us so much is because we have seen the amount of growth that takes place in people when they are actively involved in the church service as opposed to just being passive bystanders.  We believe this is church as God intended it to be...building intimate relationships with like-minded people who are always there to help one another both physically and spiritually.

Michael and Crystal Ortlieb live on the Seacoast of New Hampshire with their four children.  Michael is a Wisconsin native and moved to NH after college.  After meeting his bride, he chose to stay in New England, attend law school, become a practicing attorney in a small firm in Hampton, NH and raise a family consisting of one daughter and three sons.  Crystal, who hails from Massachusetts, is a stay-at-home mom and stays busy homeschooling her children as well as providing child care for others.  The Ortlieb family initially attended one of the largest traditional churches in NH but became disillusioned with the size and practices of the church.  Through our long hunt for a new home church, we came across the concept of the modern house church and were drawn to it.  Though we knew it must exist somewhere in our local area, it was very hard locating one, and only through word-of-mouth did we discover the Seacoast House Church in the Spring of 2010.  It has been wonderful getting to know more deeply the other members of the church and gaining a better understanding of how the Holy Spirit works through an organic church like ours.  We look forward to many more years of fellowship and true community within the growing model of the house church.

Colossians 3:17 is Hannah Leifheit's cornerstone verse. It's taught her that everything we do, whether it's being a student, a mother, a waitress or an over seas missionary is equally important and fulfilling for the Lord if we honor Him in it. Hannah's a young 20-something who's a full time daughter for the time being and reveling in its beauty. Entrepreneurship comes naturally to her also. She enjoys serving in any facet possible and is looking forward to things in the future, but they will come finding her about her Father's business.
Jim Elliot said it wonderfully: "Wherever you are, be all there. Live to the hilt every situation that you believe to be the will of God."
